في إنجاز يعكس جهود شركة المقاولون العرب في تطوير ورفع كفاءة منظومة الطرق والبنية التحتية بمدينة مكة المكرمة، تم الافتتاح الرسمي لمشروع «استكمال الأجزاء المتبقية من الطريق الدائري الثالث – التقاطع الأول تقاطع طريق الأمير سلطان بن عبد العزيز»، والذي أنجزته الشركة قبل موعد الانتهاء التعاقدي المحدد بنحو ١٣٦ يومًا، وذلك بحضور المهندس سيد الوزير نائب رئيس مجلس إدارة شركة المقاولون العرب والمهندس عصام عبدالخالق مدير فرع السعودية وممثلي الهيئة الملكية لمدينة مكة المكرمة والمشاعر المقدسة المهندس سعد بن عبدالرحمن الوابل الرئيس التنفيذي للبرامج بالهيئة الملكية لمدينة مكة المكرمة والمشاعر المقدسة والرئيس التنفيذي للخدمات المشتركة المهندس سعود بن عبدالعزيز طباخ ومستشار الرئيس التنفيذي المهندس رضا بن يحيي دفتردار ، وممثلي استشاري المشروع من شركة ستس السعودية للإستشارات الهندسية وشركة يورو كونسلت للاستشارات الهندسية.
وشملت أعماله تنفيذ جسر خرساني على امتداد الطريق الدائري الثالث، مكون من ٣ حارات مرورية في كل اتجاه بعدد ٦ محاور، بالإضافة إلـى أعمال الجدران الإستنادية بنظام التربة المسلحة .
كما تضمن المشروع تنفيذ أعمال القطع الصخري والأعمال المرتبطة بها عند جبل المسخوطة، إلى جانب تنفيذ أعمال الطرق باتجاه الطريق الدائري الثالث، وأعمال تصريف مياه الأمطار، وإعادة تأهيل طريق الأمير سلطان بن عبد العزيز، بالإضافة إلى أعمال تحويل المرافق والخدمات المتعارضة مع مسار المشروع.
وشملت أعمال الطرق والبنية التحتية تنفيذ نحو ١٥ ألف متر مكعب من أعمال الأسفلت، وأعمال تمديدات شبكات الكهرباء والاتصالات.
وشملت أعمال القطع والحماية الصخرية تنفيذ ١.٢ مليون متر مكعب من أعمال القطع الصخري، وكذلك شملت الأعمال تنفيذ شبكة لتصريف السيول.
ويجسد المشروع نموذجاً متكاملاً لأعمال تطوير الطرق والبنية التحتية، بما يدعم كفاءة الحركة والربط المروري في نطاق الطريق الدائري الثالث بمدينة مكة المكرمة، وتسهيل حركة المرور لخدمة ضيوف الرحمن فى منطقة الجمرات والمقيمين والزوار.
*The inauguration of remaining sections of the Third Ring Road in Makkah*
The completion of the remaining sections of the Third Ring Road in Makkah was officially inaugurated, reflecting the efforts of Arab Contractors Company in developing and enhancing the efficiency of the road network and infrastructure in Makkah. The project, “Completion of the Remaining Sections of the Third Ring Road – First Interchange, Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Road Interchange,” was completed by the company approximately 136 days ahead of schedule. The inauguration was attended by Eng. Sayed Al Wazir – Vice Chairman of the Arab Contractors Company; Eng. Essam Abdel Khalek – Manager of Saudi Arabia Branch; and representatives of the Royal Commission for Makkah City and the Holy Sites: Eng. Saad bin Abdulrahman Al Wabel – CEO of Programs at the Royal Commission for Makkah City and the Holy Sites, Eng. Saud bin Abdulaziz Tabbakh – CEO of Shared Services, and Eng. Reda bin Yahya Daftardar – Advisor to the CEO. Representatives from the project consultants, STS Saudi Arabia Engineering Consultants and Euroconsult Engineering Consultants, were also present.
The project included the construction of a concrete bridge along the Third Ring Road, consisting of 3 traffic lanes in each direction with 6 axles, in addition to the construction of retaining walls using a reinforced soil system.
The project included rock cutting and related works at Jabal Al Maskhouta, along with road works towards the Third Ring Road, stormwater drainage works, and the rehabilitation of Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Road. Additionally, it involved relocating utilities and services that conflicted with the project’s path.
The road and infrastructure works included the laying of approximately 15,000 cubic meters of asphalt and the installation of electricity and telecommunications networks.
The rock cutting and protection works included the excavation of 1.2 million cubic meters of rock, as well as the construction of a stormwater drainage network.
The project represents a comprehensive model for road and infrastructure development, supporting efficient traffic flow and connectivity within the Third Ring Road area of Makkah, and facilitating traffic movement to serve pilgrims in Jamarat area, residents, and visitors.
