شهدت جمهورية تشاد وضع حجر الأساس لأحد أبرز مشروعات البنية التحتية بشرق البلاد، حيث أطلق أمير إدريس كوردا، وزير البنية التحتية وفك العزلة وصيانة الطرق، أعمال تنفيذ طريق «أبشا – أم جرس»، في خطوة تعكس توجه الدولة نحو تعزيز شبكات الربط الإقليمي ودفع عجلة التنمية.
وجاءت مراسم الإطلاق بحضور عدد من المسؤولين والقيادات التنفيذية والمهندس محمد القيعي رئيس القطاع المشرف على فرع تشاد بشركة المقاولون العرب التي تتولى تنفيذ المشروع.
وقام وزير البنية التحتية التشادي بوضع حجر الأساس لمشروعات الطرق التالية : (أبشا – أم زوير) (أم زوير- قريدا) (قريدا- إريبا) (إريبا- أم جرس)، بما يجعله أحد أكبر المشروعات الاستراتيجية الجاري تنفيذها في شرق تشاد.
ويُجسد المشروع رؤية الرئيس محمد إدريس ديبي إتنو رئيس جمهورية تشاد الهادفة إلى إنشاء بنية تحتية حديثة ومستدامة، تسهم في دعم التنمية الاقتصادية والاجتماعية، خاصة في أقاليم وداي ووادي فيرا وإنيدي الشرقية، من خلال تسهيل حركة نقل المنتجات الزراعية، وتعزيز استغلال الموارد التعدينية، وتنشيط قطاع السياحة. كما يمثل الطريق شريانًا حيويًا يربط تشاد بكل من السودان وليبيا ومصر، بما يعزز من حركة التجارة والتنقل الإقليمي، ويدعم جهود تكامل شبكات النقل في المنطقة. ويأتي المشروع ضمن ممر دولي استراتيجي يربط تشاد بـ ميناء سفاجا على البحر الأحمر، مع امتدادات نحو بنغازي ومصراتة على البحر المتوسط، ما يعزز من مكانة البلاد كمحور إقليمي للتجارة وحركة التبادل في قلب القارة الإفريقية.
*Laying the foundation stone for Abéché- Amdjarass road project in Chad, implemented by Arab Contractors*
The Republic of Chad witnessed the laying of the foundation stone for one of the most prominent infrastructure projects in the east of the country. Amir Idriss Kourda – Minister of Infrastructure, Disenclavement and Road Maintenance, launched the construction of Abéché- Amdjarass road, a move reflecting the state’s commitment to strengthening regional connectivity and driving development.
The launch ceremony was attended by a number of officials and executive leaders, as well as Eng. Mohamed El Qiaay – Head of Sector, Supervisor of the Arab Contractors Company Branch in Chad, the company responsible for implementing the project.
The Chadian Minister of Infrastructure laid the foundation stone for the following road projects: (Abeche – Amzoer), (Amzoer – Guereda), (Guereda – IRIBA), (IRIBA – Amdjarass),making it one of the largest strategic projects currently being implemented in eastern Chad.
The project embodies the vision of President Mohamed Idriss Déby Itno of Chad, aimed at creating modern and sustainable infrastructure that contributes to supporting economic and social development, particularly in the Ouaddaï, Wadi Fira, and Ennedi regions. This will be achieved by facilitating the movement of agricultural products, enhancing the exploitation of mineral resources, and revitalizing the tourism sector. The road also represents a vital artery connecting Chad with Sudan, Libya, and Egypt, thus boosting trade and regional mobility and supporting efforts to integrate transport networks in the region. The project is part of a strategic international corridor linking Chad to Safaga Port on the Red Sea, with extensions towards Benghazi and Misrata on the Mediterranean, thereby strengthening the country’s position as a regional hub for trade and exchange in the heart of the African continent.
